讲座概要：This talk presents the concept of mathematical morphology, which is a fundamental mathematical framework of image manipulations with bounded-type nonlinearities. The concept and basic operations of mathematical morphology are explained, and our researches on its medical and other image processing applications are presented. Our researches on medical image processing based on other concepts are also presented.
报告人简介：Akira Asano has been Professor of the Faculty of Informatics, Kansai University, Japan, since September 2011. He received his B.Eng, M.Eng, and Ph.D. degrees in applied physics from Osaka University, Japan, in 1987, 1989, and 1992,
